All watercraft stored on approved cluster common areas must be registered with Waterview Cluster Association and any craft used in Lake Anne must be registered with Reston Association. Watercraft not registered may be removed from cluster common areas and the disposal fee(s) may be charged to the owner. Only canoes, kayaks, rowboats, inflatables (some), and small sailboats may be stored out of the water at the cluster marina. Storage of rafts, barges, floating docks, and pontoon boats are not permitted on cluster common area at any time.

WCA members with waterfront homes may moor pontoon boats in the lake immediately adjacent to their property. Pontoon boats may not be stored or moored at the Waterview Cluster marina.There is no fee to register a boat with WCA.

Reston Association Lake Access: 
There is no fee for a General Access Permit for small watercraft (canoes, kayaks, rowboats, small sailboats, etc.) used on Reston lakes.  Pontoon boats are assessed a fee based on the size of the craft.  For Reston Association registration and permits, please contact the Members Services Desk at the Reston Association headquarters building located at 12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA 20191 during regular office hours, Monday-Friday.  Proof of boat size is required.
